Volunteer Opportunities

There are many fun and rewarding ways to get involved at the Senior Center.

Our Volunteer team is a vital key to keeping our programs running smoothly.

Current Volunteer Needs Include:

Meal Delivery Volunteers

Drivers are needed in all parts of Erie County, including Sandusky, Huron, Vermilion, Birmingham, and Castalia.

Requirements include a valid driver's license and availability from 10:45 am to 12:00 pm one day per week. (No week-ends.)

Thrift Shop Attendant

Assist in staffing our small resale shop during morning hours. 

Computer Instructor

Assist seniors in small groups or one-on-one in computer basics, such as beginning word processing, how to set up and use e-mail, or how to navigate the internet.

Entertainment

Looking for anyone who has a talent to share (music, magic tricks, etc) for our noon luncheon.

Speakers

If you've had an interesting experience or trip, or information on a topic that might be of interest to a group of seniors, we'd love to schedule you as a speaker.
